With everything in the news in the past couple of months, I have a few thoughts:
-At least something is being done, it’s just HOW it’s being done is fucked up.
-This country is being run by the type of managers I hate: those assholes that are the ones who want chaos, and whatever comes out of it, despite the fact it ruins a lot of productive and positive momentum, they take credit like they were the ones that motivated their people. It’s just fucking insecure jerkoffs that somehow think they are controlling the pitbull of chaos, but the fact that pitbull could easily maul the owner as well. In fact, the workers could work at getting the boss fired as hard as fixing the problem their boss made.
-I used to think the government should be ran like a business, but there are too many nuances to be that absolute. It probably could work if you had compitenet people who ran successful businesses, and not some of the boobs and putzes in charge now. Like the “Government Efficiency” head is an autistic spoiled brat son of a blood gem Aparthied stooge and a so-called model that was mid-level at the height of her whatever career she had. His underlings are a bunch of kids that probably couldn’t get laid if they got off the plane in Hawaii. All these dolts are doing is using machine learning techniques blindly and finding things that are both good to find and weed out and irrelevenat things but thinking it’s of some value. Most of the “savings” they are making are ghost money that the system already doesn’t account for due to systems already ignoing it. The only positive this stupid exercise has shown is that our government has had shit IT and network admins who thought it was easier to build on top of bad tech with half-assed patchwork, and also there were some programs that should be reevaluated.
