I got to watch “Tron Ares” and I thought it was cool but the story needed more fleshing out. It suffered from what every loved franchise suffers from, especially ones that has long gaps between movies or any entry into the franchise. When you have a lot of fans and take time between new material, you have the fans build up the fan fiction in their heads, and if the movie or show doesn’t match that built up fiction in someone’s head, it sucks and was bad. This is especially prevalent in Star Wars fans and a lot of pro wrestling fandom

Fans think they know how the story should go, and if the director doesn’t make the show or movie that way, the director is stupid and trying to ruin the franchise according to the simp, basement dwelling fan. This fan tends to think these fiction stories they want to see as they pump your gas or half assed make your coffee.

How about people shut their egos and brains off and watch the movie or show for what it is and judge it as what it is.
